I have a 64BIT OpenSuSE server I'm looking to migrate over to Ubuntu.Dell 7500 Workstation with Intel E5 Xeon processor64GB of RAM and 20TB of dataMySQL database to migrate over with it.First off before going any further, I noticed the only architecture for 64bit is AMD 64, so does this mean having a Dell server based on Intel, I'm dead in the water as is? If so I can just go towards SME Server, but I would rather try Ubuntu as it's a bit unique on it's own/to try something different.Or is there something unique about the 32bit version that will allow it to use the full 64GB of RAM? This is a domain controller that will also virtualize multiple other servers and other functions. Greetings,I recently built my first 16.04 server. It has 2 1TB drives in a RAID 1 for /, Boot, Swap, and Primary Data Storage.The boot partitions on both drives is marked as bootable.It has another RAID 1 of 1TB drives for archive data storage.Disconnecting any one drive prevents successful boot and drops to initramfs.Running dpkg-reconfigure mdadm does not ask about boot degraded. Hi!I am completely new to ubuntu and so far my friends help me to get it installed and helped me to get started with it.My laptop runs both windows 10 and ubuntu 16.04 and my wifi works fine with I use windows, yet I can't even access wifi networks with ubuntu (I have added images to make illustrate what I mean).Yesterday, I had access to wifi with ubuntu, but it didn't work when when I suspended my session and logged in again. So I ask my friend to help me fix this problem, but now I the situation is even worse (as I described in the last sentence).I have a RTL8723BE wireless network adapter.As i have mentioned I am completely lost and I have absolutely no idea what to do since I am on my own. So i have install a duel booted Ubuntu Server 16.04 on a separate partition on my HD intended to be used as a webserver. Windows 8 is the other OS. What I want to do is clone my Ubuntu so that if anything goes wrong, I can just reinstall from the clone, an exact copy of the original, is that how it works!?I am new to cloning a "partition" as I have never done it before. I watched some youtube videos and it looked easy with clonezilla, but since my set-up is dual boot I am unsure if it is going to be difficult to get everything to work again. Can anyone give me pointers what I should be looking out for and initials steps?Another question, if I am cloning to an USB exteal drive, does that mean I would be able to run the cloned linux from that?Thanks!
