Sorry if this has been asked before but... I keep reading that the app selection for Ubuntu Phone & Tablet doesn't compare to Android and iOS.Not a problem since I use one or two android apps at most; but then I also read that Ubuntu's Mobile OS can't run most of the software in the Ubuntu Repository? Am I understanding that correctly? For instance, I can't download LibreOffice or Calibre on an Ubuntu Tablet or Phone?Am I missing something?Edit: Meant to write 'Can it run Apps from the Repository?' Let's block ads! بخوانید...

Hi.... I'm pretty new to Linux and Ubuntu. I have a little microboard that is ruing Ubuntu 14.04. The board itself does not have a lot of memory on it. I have a 64 gig USB memory drive that I'd like to be able to insert into the board and use. I've noticed that when I open the app "Files" I can see the USB stick just fine.I'm wanting to install QT the C++ development environment onto the board. In specific, I want to have the USB stick inserted into the board, run the QT installer and have QT installed onto the USB drive. I'm able to run the QT installer, but when I click to specify where I want it installed, I don't see the USB stick listed, I only see the inteal memory location on the phys...

Hello!I have a very strange behavior happening when the PC is unlocked after a period of time. What will happen is I am not able to click on any open application, I can't interact with it, close it, minimize it. I can select apps from the unity launcher and even new instances of application exhibit the same whereas they become un-clickable. What I have to do is log out and then log back in. There has to be something really quirky going on and I don't know where to start looking for it.I've included a link to my PC's system information if there is anything in question there.https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zK...noefkP8q15BgPQThanks in advance for taking a look.Dave This entry passed through ...
