Hi All,I'm ruing Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 as a Fileserver in an Office. I admin it via Webmin and SSH - there is no desktop installed.On my own Workstation Desktop, I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and I use overGrive to sync to my Google Drive for work account (We're a Google Apps for work customer). This works pretty well.Does anyone know a good way to sync the Fileserver (about 40Gb of files) to a Google apps Drive account - so users can access the Files via Google Drive on web or inteally on the office network. This will also be a real time Backup. My directors also want to move away from the Physical Fileserver to the Cloud... so they'r hoping this will ease the transition.Thanks in advance This ent...

Hello,I have been having trouble with rhythmbox (and any other music player I have installed: clementine, gnome music, etc.) in that it hangs on startup. This happens when I have coected to exteal server storage, google drive or an nfs file share I setup at home, that is not accessible to rhythmbox (google drive won't allow access, nfs is only available in home network). The issue goes away after a reboot because these file systems are not automounted. HiI'm writing some rsync scripts to automate backup.Now I could simply use cron to run the jobs on schedule, but my conce is that even with the low-latency keal, rsync might chew up a lot of CPU cycles and cause glitches if recording when a backup starts.So I'm interested to know if the low-latency keel would guard against this, always prioritising audio or if i need to run nice against the cron job, for example:0 6 * * * /usr/bin/nice -n 19 /root/scripts/backup.sh > /dev/null 2>&1If not that, I could use batch to run the backup script whenever it detects system resource using has been low for sometime, indicating that no one is using the computer to record anything.Any advice woul...

I know I can remove rhythmbox and I will, but first I want to get an answer to this question.When I launch rhythmbox and play a song I can click the "X" at the top of the window and rhythmbox disappears from my screen. However, the song keeps playing. I can not stop the song unless I first go to the dashboard, find rhythmbox, open it and then close it at the file menu. Is there an easier way to kill the song? Hello everybody I've got a little question regarding my Pacemaker / Corosync cluster. Has anyone gone ffmpeg working with quicksync, if so do you have any suggestions, I've been working on it, and got ffmpeg to compile, but installing Intel's Media Server Studio for Linux is a problem, I can hack to get the pre-reqs installed and even get the software to install, but I can not get it to actually perform a conversion, ffmpeg starts converting, but hangs when it attempts to start the QuickSync engine. The standalone samples are not much better they execute and then fail. Since thwe are using a 4.2 Keel and the latest Intel drivers there should be no issues with supporting QuickSync on anything greater that a 3 series processors (so 3xxx, 4xxx or 6xxx), but so far I've had no lu...
