[ubuntu] Ubuntu 16.04LTS ffmpeg and QuickSync

Has anyone gone ffmpeg working with quicksync, if so do you have any suggestions, I've been working on it, and got ffmpeg to compile, but installing Intel's Media Server Studio for Linux is a problem, I can hack to get the pre-reqs installed and even get the software to install, but I can not get it to actually perform a conversion, ffmpeg starts converting, but hangs when it attempts to start the QuickSync engine. The standalone samples are not much better they execute and then fail. Since thwe are using a 4.2 Keel and the latest Intel drivers there should be no issues with supporting QuickSync on anything greater that a 3 series processors (so 3xxx, 4xxx or 6xxx), but so far I've had no luck on my U3700.

I'll post what I've done for the installation next time I'm at the system and can clean up my notes, but wanted to see if anyone else has had success.
