Hello, I am having trouble installing the updated version of SMB4K (version 1.9..65) which is not available on synaptic. I am ruing kubuntu 16.01 1 LTS with plasma 5.5.5. I have managed to unzip the tar file and have navigated to the correct folder using "cd" on terminal, when I follow the instructions on the "readme" file from the program I get error messages in terminal. I'm not easily given to flaming wars, and this is not meant as bashing Firefox, but over the past few weeks with 16.04.1 and 14.04.5 iso and upgrade testing I've been ruing Firefox with totally fresh profiles (so it's not due to cruft in an old profile) and when I go back to my daily driver (based on 14.04.1) I find both Chrome and Opera are downright snappy in comparison. Please let me know if this is not the place for this question.So, I'm using keepassX with the auto-type function and as such, I need the browser's title to be updated when one changes tabs. Essentially, the tab title should be the same as the "main" title. That is not happening on my firefox. How do I go about fixing this? Hi guys,I am looking for some advice for if it is possible to coect to 3G/4G networks using open-source software and firmware to prevent the risk of backdoors etc?I have looked at USB dongles but am not entirely sure if they can be run freely. Am I correct in assuming that 3G dongles contain a separate OS that you coect to through a sort of USB to Etheet adapter, kind of like a mini router? I tested the Ubuntu implementation of Firefox using https://www.ssllabs.com/ and found to my dismay that Ubuntu Firefox allows SSL3. There seems to be no way to prevent the use of SSL3. I encountered a system freeze twice, when suddenly everything started to be very slow, then unresponsive, and after a few minutes I couldn't even move the mouse any more and had to do a hard reset. Hello,After a recent reinstallation, I'm unable to open Firefox normally--I receive the error message, Code: Firefox is already ruing, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system. I have experience using MS-Access to develop simple database applications, but I'd like to keep my new project open source. So far, every gui platform I have found has serious inadequacies. For example libreoffice base and kexi both don't support UPDATE queries.
