I just switched from IPS237L-BN (1920×1080) to new Dell P2416D (2560x1440) monitors in a dual setup. And I have the following problem. I get a a message on my monitors stating:"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor. Please change your input timing to 2560×1440, 60Hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications." Effectively I don't see my boot/bios screen or any tty's. I am trying to dual boot ubuntu 14 and windows 10 on my dell xps 9350. They have both been installed and the windows side boots fine. I succeeded after some tinkering with permissions, but then all of a sudden it just stopped working. Now my windows 8 guest caot even see my host through the inbuilt Network folder. As the title says my etheet keeps discoecting roughly 5 mins after plugging in the etheet cable. If I plug it out and back in again it works perfectly for another 5 mins. I have a USB to LAN coection when I use that I have no coections whatsoever, it only happens when I plug the etheet cable into the on board etheet port on my laptop. The coection isn't loose and the wire isn't damaged in any way. Any ideas what's causing this? Qemu 2.5 has a bug that prevents a Windows guest from loading the TPM driver, this is patched from qemu 2.6 onwards so I've got qemu 2.6.1 in my build chain and am ruing the guest on the cmd line. I've installed Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04 (also tried Xubuntu 16.04/14.04) on my brand new laptop i5 6200u/8gb/gt940m/240gb. I have problem with ubuntu performance, which doesn't occur on windows, where everything i've tried works just fine.
