Greetings!I managed to install ubuntu (16.04) on my working PC, after couple hours of surfing the web my inteet connection lost. I am trying to dual boot ubuntu 14 and windows 10 on my dell xps 9350. They have both been installed and the windows side boots fine. However when I attempt to boot into ubuntu I get the following errorError parsing pcc from pcct subspacesata3.0: exception Emask 0.0I made sure fast boot is off on the windows side and secure boot is off. I have already tried reinstalling ubuntu many times but I always get this error when I first boot into it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hi all,I leat PHP 5.6 using Windows 10 & WAMPServer (64 bit) and recently moved to Ubuntu Linux. I am trying to setup my Linux machine to continue leaing PHP. My setup is:Ubuntu Linux 16.04.1 (64 bit)Firefox: 48.0Apache: Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu)MySQL: 5.7.13PHP: 7.0.8I have some questions and I have them below in BLUE.Issue 1: apache2 & mysql start automatically when I tu on my laptop; I prefer to start apache2 & mysql service when I need them. How do I ensure these services don't start automatically on startup?Issue 2:My work folder is: /eBooks/PHP/Chapxx and my PHP server folder is: /var/www/html/php/chapxx/For the PHP server folder /var/www/html, owner is www-data and group is www-data; all sub-folders & files under html have owner as www-data and group as www-data. I am trying to figure out how to get a real certificate working for my owncloud server as it seems I cannot use the mobile apps with the self-signed certificates. This is not my first try getting a real certificate working for my domain, but there is something I cant seem to understand.Below I have tried to explain exactly what I did in my last try I hopes that someone will read it and see what I am doing wrong. Dear all,I am not very Linux or computer savvy in general, and I have shunned these forums for a long time for this reason. But I’m up against a strange situation, and I haven’t seen anyone online who’s had this happen to them. I updated my Bios on this computer to the final version on July 18 (and it hasn’t changed my situation).I'm attaching a boot log from my computer(I’ve since updated the BIOS to the latest version, everything else’s the same).I’ve run Ubuntu 14.04 on this computer for months as the sole OS, until I lost my hard drive to overheating (thanks to Ubuntu) and had to get a new hard drive. I have Virtualbox installed on my Linux workstation now for at least half a year, running Windows 7 as a guest system.I had it running this moing, then shut it down (selecting "save the active state" for faster reboot).Now this afteoon, i wanted to work on some stuff under the windows environment and wanted to fire Virtualbox back up.However now I got this strange waing: Code: Failed to execute command "VirtualBox %U". Failed to execute child process "VirtualBox" (No such file or directory) What????Virtualbox is also not recognized as installed in the Ubuntu Software center. The commands "vitrualbox" and "VBox" are now missing from my /usr/bin/-folder. However in my /usr/bin/ folder I DO find "VBoxClient", "VBoxControl" and "VBoxService".I certainly did not delete or uninstall them or use anything requiring sudo, as far as I can remember...The only thing that may be somewhat related is the Software centers request to do a "partial upgrade" today, which lead to an error message, ...ادامه مطلب

HiSorry if this is the incorrect section to post this.Just started using Mint 18 Cinnamon 64bit and love it so far not touched windows for a while now.I've managed to move over all i do on my win10 install to mint and haven't looked back.There is an issue though, when i play my media from my unbuntu server in kodi on my second monitor (Samsung 40" TV") in full-screen mode the bottom task bar vanishes from the primary monitor.The TV is connected via HDMI on then second DVI socket using a DVI to HDMI converter from my GeForce GTX 460 and the audio comes from the toslink socket on ASUS P8Z77-V LX motherboard, both audio and video are perfect.If i put kodi into windowed mode and fullscreen it on the TV it plays fine but you have a kodi title bar at the top of the screen, this is less then ideal, you do have the task bar back on the primary monitor though.Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere that will allow me to put kodi into fullscreen mode on the TV and retain the task bar on the pri,kodi full screen,kodi full screen windows,kodi full screen mac,kodi full screen mode,kodi full screen key,kodi full screen too big,kodi full screen windows 10,kodi full screen not working,kodi full screen ubuntu,kodi full screen zoomed in ...ادامه مطلب
