Buenas noches a todos los foristas, apelo a su ayuda ya que yo soy novata en este SO.Versiòn de Ubuntu 16.04 LTSNo puedo abrir las carpetas que estàn en el escritorio ni tampoco se abre desde el ícono de archivo (aparece la ruedita y nada) o desde "buscar en el equipo", esto sucede a partir de que pasé las fotos y documentos de estudio de la facultad del cel a la pc (no se si eso tendrá algo que ver). So I've been hosting my Plex Media Server and 2 Mumble Servers off my Main Windows 10 Gaming rig for a while now. I just recently built a new machine and threw Ubuntu 14 on it.All was working fine.. I got mumble working great on it..plex was working fine. I ****ed up some settings with Phpmumbleadmin and for some reason DHCP wasn't picking up an IP address from the Router on the ubuntu machine only. Wifi was fine, and Desktop was fine.I decided i probably screwed up apache or myphpadmin or something and decided to just reinstall Ubuntu.Woohoo it was working again. Installed Plex, started copying files over from my NAS for the Plex files/database, walked away and came back to the same issue!!When this happens I cannot access the Routers Configuration page either it just times out. Hi. I am looking for a general recommendation on virtual web server requirements (more specifically, ram and virtual processors). I am running Ubuntu Server 16.04.1 with LAMPS and WordPress and might add Drupal in the future. The server is going to have minimal traffic.I have a general idea of what I need, but would like to get some advice from those who currently run their own. The web server is running on a AMD A10-7700K 3.40GHz with 16GB RAM. Right now I have 2 virtual processors and 4GB RAM dedicated to the VM. Is that overkill? Would one virtual processor and 2GB RAM be efficient enough?Thanks! Ok, where do I begin?I was able to install Starcraft 2 under Ubuntu 15.10 using PlayOnLinux (wine version 1.9.13), and played most of Legacy of the Void, then there was an update.After much searching and trying I somehow got it to work again by removing the battlenet entry and reinstalling. Im 90% sure that all the settings where the same as before. With that up and running I continued the game, until the last. bloody. level.Literally the last level of the last campaign of the last section in the Epilogue.I absolutely hate windows, but every time that Bnet updates it throws me off. I cant seem to get it working again, and I dont know what to do really. Since keel version 4.4.0-20, EFI_SECURE_BOOT_SIG_ENFORCE has been enabled--meaning that all keel modules must be signed by a trusted key. Most modules are shipped already signed by a trusted key, however any modules that need to be build by the user themselves (ie. using dkms) are unsigned and will fail to load with a message similar to the one below. Code: modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'vboxdrv': Required key not available This is a problem for me because both virtualbox, and the proprietary NVIDIA drivers fall into the category of modules that need to be built by the user.There are two possible solutions for this problem.Disable secure bootEither in the bios or using Code: sudo mokutil --disable-validation Sign the modules yourself (originally suggested for ubuntu here Create signing keys Code: openssl req -new -x509 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout MOK.priv -outform DER -out MOK.der -nodes -days 36500 -subj "/CN=Descriptive name/" Sign the module (vboxdrv for this example) Code: sudo /usr/src/linux-headers-$(uname -r)/scripts/sign-file sha256 ./MOK.priv ./MOK.der $(modinfo -n vboxdrv) Register the keys to Secure Boot Code: sudo mokutil --import MOK.der Supply a password for later use after rebootReboot and follow instructions to Enroll MOK (Machine Owner Key). Here's a sample with pictures. The system will reboot one more time. After the reboot, you may also need to sudo modprobe vboxdrv to load the module. The later option is more appealing because it doesn't require disabling a security feature. Furthermore, I briefly had this option working (for virtualbox modules at least, it was still buggy for the NVIDIA modules). You may have "disabled remote access" -- except for whatever back doors an intruder has opened. Take it off the web yesterday.It is my humble opinion that the only recourse when your machine has been compromised (assuming your description is accurate, it surely has) is euthanasia, followed by putting the dead carcass on a pyre. Nuke it hard and start over. That is the only option I would consider.
