I just switched from IPS237L-BN (1920×1080) to new Dell P2416D (2560x1440) monitors in a dual setup. And I have the following problem. I get a a message on my monitors stating:"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor. Please change your input timing to 2560×1440, 60Hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications." Effectively I don't see my boot/bios screen or any tty's. I was ruing Ubuntu 14.04 gnome flashback (metacity) before letting the update manager upgrade to 16.04. Ubuntu now only boots to command line. After logging in, the following error appears:-bash: caot create temp file for here-document: Read-only file systemIt looks like the operating system partition got switched to read only at some point but I don't know what to do to fix that or if it's even related. I have a host ruing ubuntu 16.04. and lxc guest (archlinux). Both a ruing nvidia 367.35.When Upgrading to nvidia 370.23 (host and guest) I lost graphics in the container. I did not get any error messages.Was anyone successful using nvidia 370.23 and containers. Do I need to upgrade cuda 7.5 to 8.0. Are there any workarounds. Came back to linux because I'm tired of Windows. Ruing into a few issues however. I have a Dell Inspiron 7348, which dell sells with Ubuntu.First, my mouse icons disspears after I recover from sleep. Qemu 2.5 has a bug that prevents a Windows guest from loading the TPM driver, this is patched from qemu 2.6 onwards so I've got qemu 2.6.1 in my build chain and am ruing the guest on the cmd line. Hello there, I work in a lab with 13 PCs, 12 of them ruing Lubuntu and the last one ruing Ubuntu. Recently I dicided to update these systems so I did update 2 of them (the Ubuntu and one of the Lubuntu, I've used apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade). Since then the Lubuntu and the Ubuntu that I have updated are freezing randomly (the PC freezes and I have to restart it using the power button of the case), I can't find any particular reason that would lead these PCs to freeze, they have 4GBs of RAM (Lubuntu) and 8GBs of RAM (Ubuntu) and run all the time with more than 2,5GB free (the Lubuntu run most of times with over than 80% of CPU utilization, though).
