Ok. I've been fighting with this issue for weeks now.I have fresh Intel NUC (http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...nuc6i5syk.html) set up as a HTPC and connected to a UHD tv, which is capable of doing 3840x2160@60fps. The computer is connected with a DP1.2->HDMI 2.0 adapter (http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/pro...e-adapter.html) and even though the system doesn't automatically detect a 60Hz mode, I can get it to work with a modeline based on the displays EDID information. Code: Modeline "3840x2160" 533.28 3840 3888 3920 4000 2160 2163 2168 2222 +hsync -vsync The above modeline (CVT-RB) gives a stable image, but no sound. No matter what I do. If I drop down to 1080p, I get sound.If I use a slightly "invalid" modeline, which has a much higher pixel clock and isn't a "reduced blanking" mode, I get a picture with some flickering pixels and clipping/popping audio. I'm having a problem with my desktop that started when sometimes after coming back from suspend there would be a desktop picture I haven't seen before and not the type I would download or choose myself. The picture's origin and location are a complete mystery. I first noticed them when I installed ubuntu-tweak from the PPA and everytime it comes up dconf-editor tells me that the desktop picture is the one that is supposed to be there rather than this mystery picture. When I try to change the desktop background via its preferences nothing changes. This time I restarted my computer to see if it will fix it after logging out and back in changed nothing and now I have no desktop picture at all. Just a black screen with the same symptoms.I have also purged ubuntu-tweak from my system since so I am not sure if it originally caused the problem.Also I have noticed that whatever is causing it is hijacking the picture at the login screen a tenth of a second after you see the original login picture. Checked my startup applications as well but there was nothing suss there either.I have also logged into unity and the mystery desktop picture is there so the problem is not isolated to cinnamon. I have attached the desktop picture.So does anyone know what is going on here? Have I been hacked? How do I fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again? Please help. Im trying to use ffserver to re-stream an H264 stream from an IP CCTV camera. The camera only supports one user at a time so I want to re-stream it so I can use ffmpeg to record and VLC to view simultaneously. Im using ffmpeg to capture the RTSP stream from the camera and pass it to ffserver like this: Code: ffmpeg -i rtsp://cameraip/src/MediaInput/h264/stream_1 -acodec copy -vcodec copy http://127.0.0.1:8090/stream1.ffm But from the Googling Ive done it seems its not possible to likewise configure ffserver to just copy through the data without doing any transcoding?I can get an H264 stream by putting the following in ffserver.conf Code: <Feed stream1.ffm> File /tmp/stream1.ffm FileMaxSize 2G ACL allow 127.0.0.1 </Feed> <Stream stream1.flv> Format flv Feed stream1.ffm NoAudio VideoCodec libx264 VideoFrameRate 30 VideoBitRate 4096 VideoSize 600x800 AVOptionVideo crf 23 AVOptionVideo preset medium # for more info on crf/preset options, type: x264 --help AVOptionVideo flags +global_header </Stream> But the resulting picture quality its far too blurry and there is a 30 second+ delay between the camera seeing something and it appearing on screen. HI,I am using ubuntu 15.10. i am new user to ubuntu. Without knowing i have deleted short cuts from Home folder for Documents, Pictures and Music. Now when i am trying to open Documents and other folders from left side pane i am getting error:Unable to find the requested file. Please check the spelling and try again.Unhandled error message: Error when getting information for file '/home/sivakrishna/Videos': No such file or directoryI dont know what to do and recover these folders again.
