I am trying to dual boot ubuntu 14 and windows 10 on my dell xps 9350. They have both been installed and the windows side boots fine. However when I attempt to boot into ubuntu I get the following errorError parsing pcc from pcct subspacesata3.0: exception Emask 0.0I made sure fast boot is off on the windows side and secure boot is off. I am trying to figure out how to get a real certificate working for my owncloud server as it seems I caot use the mobile apps with the self-signed certificates. Has anyone experience of setting up plex on a Lan? I am using the Roku (Now TV) as the receiver of the videos, but having reinstalled Ubuntu I can not set up the plex server to see any of the files I wish to stream.I have tried:Going to the exteal HD where the files are located and creating a link into the home directory.Changing the permissions on the link and the Ext HD drive to 777 (I don't think the drive ownership changed). The link in the home director to the ext HD can not be seen in plex as an entry in the home directory.Pointing plex to the actual directory within the Ext HD drive. In my attempt to make a my Mac Mini 1,1 dual boot OSX 10.5 and Ubuntu 14.04, I have set things up incorrectly pertaining to sharing drive space between these OS's. And I don't know how to fix it.My goal is to have the single hard drive divided into partitions for each OS, and another one for files that can be accessed from either OS.I encountered the user ID mismatch problem and tried to fix it by assigning the Ubuntu user ID to 501, to match that of the OSX 10.5 user ID. I've decided to start a new thread on this, rather than keep adding to me 14.04 to 15.10 thread.I have upgraded to 16.04.1I am finding a few issues. So far: Wireless coection is unstable. I'm using wired for now. Monitor switches off after being left idle, and the only way to wake it is reboot. I've now tued off the sleep mode, but that's not ideal either.
