Greetings,I recently built my first 16.04 server. It has 2 1TB drives in a RAID 1 for /, Boot, Swap, and Primary Data Storage.The boot partitions on both drives is marked as bootable.It has another RAID 1 of 1TB drives for archive data storage.Discoecting any one drive prevents successful boot and drops to initramfs.Ruing dpkg-reconfigure mdadm does not ask about boot degraded. I am attempting to install a dependency for the ffmpeg packageThe dependency is libgnutls30 (version 3.5.3.2)The error is: Breaks existing package 'libgnutls-openssl27' dependency libgnutls30 (=3.4.10-4ubuntu1.1)Do I force install this specific dependency? If not, how do I get around this error? I caot install any other dependencies for ffmpeg, nor can I install the complete ffmpeg package, until I get this error resolved. Also, extracting the dependency file and manually installing this specific dependency, either by replacing version 3.4.10, or manually installing as an addition to version 3.4.10, does not work as I still get both the error message and unable to complete full installation ...

I tried Multisystem maybe some years ago and it worked for me. I don't know how to plays with 16.04 LTS. Hi there,I just upgraded LTS to 16.04 and noticed that the disk utility does no longer display RAID information.It appears it has been discontinued on purpose.So I'd like to ask if somebody knows an alteative GUI with some basic RAID support. So I installed "Calibre" -- the epub reader -- on my Xenial drive and noticed right away that the icons on my top-panel & my desktop were suddenly all-white with a red "X" on them.I re-booted, and the login screen was black (background image totally not there), but the useame & password boxes still appeared, so at least I could log in.The second I was logged in, although I could see that my startup programs had loaded, instantly the entire screen on both my monitors did this whole BLINK-BLINK-BLINK-BLINK thing and just kept up like that. I just recently decided to give steam gaming on Ubuntu a try, so far the following games work perfect:-Payday2-Day of Infamy (uses Source engine)-Project Zomboid-Chivalry Medieval Warfare/Deadliest WarriorFor whatever reason CS:GO just doesn't...launch. So I consider myself if not an uber computer geek at least a "power user", and tried to keep my dual boot setup of Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04 for as long as I could. I need Windows currently because of some Windows-only software I need for my classes (hopefully won't need these ever again after I graduate). Hello.Am a Linux novice. Performed an on-line update from 14.04 to 16.04 on my laptop which is an Asus Ultrabook. It has an 1T SSD and is dual-boot with Windows 8.1 via grub. Have done the same upgrade on my Intel i7 desktop without issue. It however DOES NOT have an SSD.During boot, there are errors reported that I caot decipher and, I believe, has to do with Ubuntu recognizing my SSD (sd9?). It is a Corsair SSD. During boot it performs some sort of disk diag that runs for 1m 50s? Sometimes it won't boot at all and I have to do the three-finger-salute (control-alt-delete).Have a copy of my dmsg file and have attached it... (after I looked up where to find it)Again. So I've been hosting my Plex Media Server and 2 Mumble Servers off my Main Windows 10 Gaming rig for a while now. I just recently built a new machine and threw Ubuntu 14 on it.All was working fine.. I got mumble working great on it..plex was working fine. I ****ed up some settings with Phpmumbleadmin and for some reason DHCP wasn't picking up an IP address from the Router on the ubuntu machine only. Wifi was fine, and Desktop was fine.I decided i probably screwed up apache or myphpadmin or something and decided to just reinstall Ubuntu.Woohoo it was working again. Installed Plex, started copying files over from my NAS for the Plex files/database, walked away and came back to the same issue!!...

Installed Ubuntu last night and have spent the last 10 hours today trying to get my old adapter working, alas I have given up. Does anybody know of a adapter that will just install and work without having to fiddle with anything?
