Just bought a new HP Pro laptop with Microsoft Window preloaded and Wifi works well after the computer is booted from Microsoft Window. I want to lea Linux, but I do not want to erase Microsoft Window from my computer. As I have very little knowledge in computer, I want to be safe to run Ubuntu only from a USB stick without having to install it on my Laptop hard disk. After I downloaded Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on a USB stick, I am able to boot the computer from Ubuntu on the USB stick. Ok I have a weird LXC problem I cant seem to solve on my own, LXC was working in 15.04, I created a brand new server install on a new physical machine with 15.10 and configured it exactly as the previous server but LXC is unable to start a container in unprivileged mode. The only differences I see is 15.04 vs 15.10, 32 bit server (old) vs 64 bit server (new), and to be sure I wasn't going insane trying to resolve this I even upgraded to 16.04 today and I still am unable to start the containers up. On top of that when I setup the network bridge br0 I lose all inteet coectivity on the host (currently disabled so that it has inteet coectivity), where the same exact configuration works on 15.04....

Hello!I've assembled a HTPC ruing Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 in a Antec Remote Fusion Case.The remote (Antec Veris RM200) is supportetd by the keel, so Volume+, Volume-,Powerbutton and so on work out of the box. So waking up from shutdown with the remoteworked just fine.After installing Lirc using devinput I can't power on the system with the remote any more.It still works on suspend or hibeate, but not after a clean shutdown.Does anybody know why that is and what I can do about it?Thanks!Best regardsProton Let's block ads! بخوانید...

This command really helped me "sudo mount -o remount,rw,uid=[renju] /dev/sdb1 /media/renju/9F51-B46B".After executing it, i restarted the machine and that did the trick.Now the issue is with the pendrive that i tried to fix. I have a server with public IP and its online and working fine.
