Ugee M1000L tablet not working since upgrade to 16.04

Hi everyone,

I've been using ubuntu for a while but am still more or less a total begier.

I recently ugraded to 16.04.

Before the upgrade my Ugee M1000L graphics tablet worked fine just by plugging it in.

After the upgrade something strange happened. I could still use it to write (un limnu.com if that matters) but it didn't show the cursor so I ended up writing on top of things I had already written.

After a quick google I found
digimend-dkms_6_all.deb

I downloaded it and installed it through the software centre.

Now the tablet doesn't work at all.
