Hi! On a notebook the HDMI secondary display output is not working (no signal) after fresh install of UbuntuMate 16.04. It is working properly with the Live Iso from the very begiing of the boot process. Nouveau driver in use in both cases.What may trigger this behaviour? You really should give more info from the start...1. How do you know it's not working, which IP are you trying to access?In VBox, in the VM network settings, did you leave the default NAT option or you set it to bridged?If you use NAT the VM is behind that NAT and it's not easy to access it from your home LAN. Attempted a Ubuntu 16.04 installation on my MSI gaming PC (Nvidia 765 graphics). BIOS is in legacy/UEFI mode, so that either technology can be used. Install DVD booted fine, installation appeared to complete normally (but with an initramfs tools post install script error that I believe is unrelated). Hi,After some problems upgrading to 16.04 LTS, I completely reinstalled Ubuntu using a USB stick.Previously, I was on 14.04 SP1 and wireless worked perfectly. What pvr could I use (for a dvb-t usb stick) with Lubuntu 15.10 currently or I could install 16.04 if necessary.I tried tvheadend but it won't work, apparently it's hard to get it to work in 15.10 or 16.04.Is there any one I can just install without having to go through lots of complex workarounds that I can't get to work? I've been frustrated getting powertop to execute via a Systemd unit in 16.04.In Fedora 24, installing powertop also installs "powertop.service". Then, a "sudo systemctl enable powertop.service", a reboot, and it's working.Ubuntu's powertop package doesn't install a powertop.service unit. If I copy Fedora's to Ubuntu, enable it, it does not start, either on system start or via "sudo systemctl start powertop.service". "systemctl status powertop.service" reports it failed. Permissions, ownership, etc. are identical to Fedora's. I have just installed 16.04 on a HP Compaq nc6000. In System Settings -> Details, the graphics line says "Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV350". The relevant line in lspci: "01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV350/M10 / RV366660/M11 [Mobility Radeon 9600 (Pro) / 9700]"The problem:If the screen tus off due to inactivity, it will not come back on.I can only force it back on by closing the lid and going into suspend, then waking from suspend, because suspend works fine.Right now my workaround is to set "Tu screen off when inactive for: Never" but I'd like a better workaround or fix. I always thought Samba was a prerequisite to access to any windows share (same home LAN).But everything works well without it. PcManFM ask me credentials, I'll put them and I'm in.Most of shared folders work fine, some list very few files (when it supposed to be several in there).I'm on lubuntu 15.10.First question: why shares works? Can boot though the USB 3.0 ubuntu-16.04-beta2-desktop-amd64.iso try or live and then go to install it say reboot and it just stays there with the Ubuntu logo and the dots going right over and over. If I reset or pull the power it starts to boot from the eMMC it install on. But never gets to the desktop.It's something the live works good on it but can't install it.Other Ubuntu before 16.04 will not even run the live on it.The Ubuntu 16.04 bata2 of the server will not load on it.
