ادامه مطلبI’m installing 16.04 on a friend’s PC and having terrible video problems. It’s an ancient (2007 or 2008?) Gigabyte M61PME-S2P (rev. 1.0) with integrated Nvidia GeForce 6100 GPU. Specs here. BIOS flashed to the most current rev. This is a fresh install on a new out-of-the-box hard disk. The installer ran just fine, as do the splash screen and the login screen.Problems begin very quickly at the Unity desktop. It takes less than 10 seconds before the screen freezes in a stairstep patte. It locks the computer so completely, even the front panel off button and reboot buttons don’t work. Only a full discoection from the mains works. (Always works!)I just checked, and ruing Ubuntu from the DVD also f...

I had Kubuntu 14.04 for a month or so before that, so it woke up into the new environment and couldn't see USB2 ports or coect to the network. ادامه مطلبHi!I would like to know what is happening with my keyboard. I run Ubuntu 15.10 with a Gigabyte Force K7 keyboard, Wireless. With any other keyboards I can use the Windows key to access the Dash, but here I can't.Do you know how to do it? I've tried addiing a custom shortcut via System->Keyboard. But even when configuring the shortcut by pressing the key, it seems like Ubuntu even recognizing it as a key. If I press the Windows key, it does nothing. But if then I press enter, it tells me "Error, this key can't be used because it is used for other things...etc" So no clueThank you!
