[kubuntu] 14.04 Gigabyte Mobo and D-Link Wifi Problems

My old computer died, I had to get everything new: mobo, CPU, RAM, PSU, wifi adapter. I had Kubuntu 14.04 for a month or so before that, so it woke up into the new environment and couldn't see USB2 ports or coect to the network. USBs got fixed by editing some configuration file, though that's still a problem because it doesn't work for other distros on other drives, but that's not important.

What's important is the network, which I need for work. I tried whatever solutions I could find, but none worked for me. Etheet also doesn't work.

Mobo: GA-970A-D3P rev.2
Wifi: DWA-582

The dlink was asking for rtl8812aefw.bin, which I installed, I think, but it's using rtl8821ae instead, and firmware is N/A.
I tried three keels: 3.19.0-25-generic, 3.19.0-47-generic, and 4.3.0-040300-lowlatency.

I am fairly sure the hardware is not faulty, cause it works on Windows 7 (which is on a separate drive and had to be installed anew).
