I've been Googling around for a couple of hours now and haven't had any luck. I'm just trying to add a file to the initramfs within Ubuntu 16.04, but i'm not seeing any kind of simple way to do that. All of the links I've tued up around this are either outdated, or involve complicated scripts added to hooks. I've done this on other distros (most recently Arch), but I'm stuck here.
So, how can I add a file to the initramfs so that it gets loaded at boot time?
