Youtube crashing on chrome / chromium ??

I just wanted to post this fix that worked for me as I see alot of people that have the same problem .
I tried adding libplayer.so from chrome to chromium , didnt work . tried adding ppapi enable to flags , didnt work . Tried enabling flash always on , nothing .

Youtube continued to crash and was getting to the point where no video would play .

I googled the issue and searched last month timeframe to see if a more recent fix had been posted .

A plugin was the first result . This plugin force disables youtube HTML5 player and Forces flash . I havn't had one crash since I installed this plugin . The link above is to the plugin in the chrome store.

This fix worked on Ubuntu Studio 16.04 using chromium .
