Samba from Win XP to Linux Mint

Hi,

Samba 1.2.63. I do not know how to upgrade it.

I am programming from Win XP my server that is on Linux Mint.
Files appear on Windows file Explorer, but not on Linux side.

Also, Many times I get a long error message that I would like to show you (image) But I do not catch how to use your attachement tool. it does not work. Mainly, the message says: Failed to start server: "\machinenamefoldeame (with backslashes not forward slaches)
... UNC paths are not supported. Defaulting to Windows directory. path... etc.

Also, I find files are set at Archive. (on windows side)
