I just upgraded from 14.04 to 16.04.1 as suggested by the software update-tools and got problems with a couple custom keel modules I need to build on this host. Compilation and/or linking of keel modules should be performed with the same toolchain used to compile the keel.
/proc/version:
Code:
Linux version 4.4.0-34-lowlatency (buildd@lgw01-20) (gcc version 5.3.1 20160413 (Ubuntu 5.3.1-14ubuntu2.1) ) #53-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Wed Jul 27 19:23:26 UTC 2016
Code:
ii gcc 4:5.3.1-1ubuntu1 amd64 GNU C compiler
Code:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5 feb. 11 10:47 /usr/bin/gcc -> gcc-5
Code:
gcc-5 (Ubuntu 5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.04.1) 5.4.0 20160609
Code:
ii gcc-5 5.4.0-6ubuntu1~16.0 amd64 GNU C compiler
The same issue applies to other packages in the build toolchain (cpp, g++, gcc and lots of other tools/libraries)
