HELP linux mint boots into busybox after update

Hi after ruing 1 years worth of updates through package manager and rebooting I get a busybox prompt.
My other linux partition works fine except the inteet never worked on it and all my files are on this corrupted partition

any ideas?

I get this message when I try mount bad install

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad super lock on /dev/sda6
