No resume from suspend, computer restarts in unity, ciamon, mate

Excuse me if this is not the right place...

But in unity, ciamon and mate, my computer restarts when I resume from suspend (if suspend is working at all).

Googled and tried everything to no avail.

Anyone have any suggestions?

This does not happen with KDE.
