[ubuntu] Keyboard Languages

I am really not sure what to do.
The languages are all installed and for keyboards they work in almost every language except the 3 I need, which also happen to be Asian languages.
The keyboard works for Arabic and other uncommon languages, but for some odd reason Japanese, Korean, Chinese are NOT functional.

Even when I look at the keyboard layout....it is just ENGLISH!?

Why is this? and How do I make it so that I can just switch my keyboard and it will actually type the language.

Now, all I can do is switch the keyboard, but when I type it is just in English.
