No internet coections while Gnome on surface pro first gen

Hey Guys,

So, I'm ruing Gnome on a surface pro first gen and I have a couple problems.

1. No inteet coections. It won't even show me the ability to search for inteet coections without going into network settings and even then it shows no coections. When I iwconfig it says "lo no wireless extensions" and it also does not see any proprietary drivers while when I was ruing Mate, it would.

2. I also caot get the auto rotate to work.

Any advice?
