Faulty DSDT prevents recognition of charged battery

Hi,

I am encountering the same problem as outlined under these two links.

The only information I found about changing DSDTs is at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DSDT however I dont feel confident enough yet to try it out.

I wonder if this is just a display issue or if it actually affects the battery, by constantly discharging and charging it. If it is only a display issue, it shouldnt be too much of a problem, otherwise that would be a major blocker though.
