Strange way needed to login to Ubuntu Forums today

Today, I have had difficulty logging in to the forums. Initially I would go through normal steps of entering my email address associated and password but, was asked a few times to enter a new password. I did not. I was able and still am able to use the same credentials to log into Launchpad. They are the same.

In subsequent attempts at log in, I have started getting this message instead of the above message:

vBulletin Message
Invalid Redirect URL (https://ubuntuforums.org?)

Ubuntu Forums If I clicked on it the log in process starts again and (I would be after re-entering my login credentials) back to message above.

Top If I clicked on it nothing would happen.

Archive (mode I think) If I click on that I am directed to what I believe is the Archive mode of the forums. If I click on "View Full Version [Ubuntu Forums] I am directed to the Ubuntu Forums and I am logged in.

So far, this is the only way I can log into the forums. But, I can. Is there an user-error I have made does anyone think?

I know of the recent log in problems and of what I understand of the work that has transpired to overcome this in the last couple of days.
