Cube i7 Ubuntu Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Hello,
ruing the system live on my cube i7 worked perfectly fine, also installing the wifi driver, everything went like a charm.

However, it does not boot after installing.

What I did: Used the std. amd64 ubuntu installer, installed it from usb to the inteal ssd, with standard settings (delete drive, and repartition).

The installation went all well, but it does not recognize that the ssd is a bootable disk then. I can also not set it in the bios to boot from the ssd, as it doesn't recognize it is bootable. What am I doing wrong? Where should I start looking for the problem.

I honestly feel a bit desperate as I also don't really know where to start to look for the problem.

Are there any important Bios options I have to set?
