unsupported amd proprietary drivers graphics hd 6400m/7400m Latest Kernal Mint 18

I just checked out and installed the latest Linux Mint 18 Sarah

Completely amazing GUI .

Now there has been some trouble with AMD and the new XORG18 i have leaed.

I am using an laptop with dedicated Intel/AMD gpu's so i have no option to upgrade them, i am very disappointed to find that out and am sure im not the only one.

Just to note i was successfully using the propriety drivers for my AMD on linux mint 17.3 Rosa

So here is my question :

1. Are you working on or towards getting the AMD drivers ruing on the new keal Even if they are the old ones from the last keal 17.3 Rosa used i would be very happy. if so how will i find out when they are included?

P.S: i successfully installed the AMDGPU-PRO driver for linux even though my graphics card was not listed in the compatability list, but upon restart i got stuck on a login loop, Where i would enter my password, start to enter the desktop but just reloop back to the login screen.

i will upload my cpu details when i complete my downgrade back to 17.3 Rosa.
