Hello all,

I frequently am travelling between Korea and Japan and often configure my computer to match where I am for however long I am there. I have a fresh install of 16.04 64 bit here and installed language support for both Korean and Japanese. The problem seems to be that there is Japanese language for windows and menus, and regional formats, but Korean is missing from both of these. Is there any way I could get this working? Even while I am in the USA, I tend to keep my computer configured to Korea since it has in recent years been my primary location.

Thanks for any help!

EDIT:

After testing, I can type in Korean, but only if I manually set the input method to Hangul mode, and within the Unity launcher it looks incredibly ugly because the characters sink down too far. Japanese so far only types in Hiragana mode, which is not efficient for me. I am going to use Synaptic package manager to check some stuff, and if this caot be resolved in a day or so, I am just going to go back to Lubuntu since it is easier to get what I need ruing there.
