Hello,
I'm trying to run Edubuntu for a refugee family I've been trying to help using an older Dell Latitude D531, from what I understand I believe it is ruing a broadcom chip, but nothing I've been able to do has been able to get the wifi working. After trying to install the drivers last night, the wifi indicator light never tued on after several tries and restarts. The strange thing is this moing I noticed the WiFi light on, and it was working just fine, but after the laptop went to sleep and resumed, I havn't been able to get the Wifi indicator light on no matter what, and I'm just really really stumped. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, I almost feel like I'm going crazy but it was infact working just fine this moing, so I know the driver must be out there.
