Ethernet not working on Realtek driver.

Hi All,

This is my first post on the board. I am needing some help. I have followed a few posts to fix my issue but to no avail.

I have had my etheet coect for me twice in the last 2 weeks.

I followed this post http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2293272 but it still didn't fix the issue.

Im such a noob at ubuntu (I have kodibuntu installed), I don't even know how to tell if my etheet card is getting recognised, although i did see Realtek Gigabit controller listed so assume that I did something right.

Any way is someone able to help me troubleshoot.
