[ubuntu] Looking for long range Wifi Adapter for Ubuntu

Well, the fact that you can read this means someone can get on the inteet in Ubuntu with his AC 7260 wireless card, as I'm using one right now (Ubuntu 12.04 but I built the driver from backports).

So is it really just a matter of getting your AC 7260 to work in Ubuntu 16.04? Or do you want something more "long range" than that even if you could get the 7260 to work?

I'd post on the Ubuntu Networking & Wireless forum to get specific tips to get your 7260 card to work. There's a "wireless script" pied at the top of that forum; run that first and provide the output from it your first post to get the most accurate help.
