[ubuntu] Studio Sound issues Dual Boot Windows 10 PS4, Tv out

Hi all, not sure how to word the title.

I am dual booting with Windows 10. Everything is working, sort of.

Here is my set up:

Tower PC
PS4
Sony Tv
Amp

I have hdmi from ps4 to Tv, but sound out of Tv with mini jack to Tower, and from tower to amp. (I only have one input to amp so using PC to route) On windows 10 it's fine. I hear sound from speakers, Tv, Tower, everything, even headphones.

Studio I have sound too, but when I switch my hdmi to Ps4, I have no sound.

I've noticed an overwhelming amount of programs pre-installed, but I've no idea what is what.

Could someone walk me thru it please?
