Ubuntu Studio + External Display turns off and can't get it back!

Ubuntu Studio is awesome. Especially since I'm a creative human myself.

I installed the 64-bit 16.04 version on my laptop( NEO Basic B5700N ).

Processor: Intel Core i7-2630QM
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics
RAM: 2GB

LCD's broken so I have to attach an exteal monitor to use it.

Everything's working fine, except every couple of minutes the exteal monitor tus off and I can't get it back by moving the mouse(assuming it just tus off display when on standby), even with ruing programs or while using the laptop, It still tus off the dispaly. Everything's ruing except the display. I can only get the display back when entering the Ctrl+Shift+F1 mode(forgot what that part is called).

I've tried changing the settings on the Power Management settings, changing the Tu off display and the other related settings to Never. Still didn't fix it.

What could be the problem?

I really want to use Ubuntu Studio for my film/video/animation projects. SO I would really appreciate anyone that could help. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
