Cancel email to Ubuntu Forums Council?

I initially had trouble signing up for an account here after successfully getting a Ubuntu SSO account, so I had emailed the Ubuntu Forums Council mailing list about it. They were too busy to reply, so yesterday I just tried again to sign up here, and found that the problem was on my end, and now I've figured out what the problem is and how to fix it.
In the mean time the cancellation link I received has expired. So how to cancel the post to the mailing list, or can someone please do that for me?
