[xubuntu] Computer confused over duplicate DVD writers

Hi,

I have two identical make and model DVD rewriters. But I think Xubuntu is getting confused.

I put a disc in the first one and it displays the contents of that disc.

I then eject the disc (right click on desktop icon), but it ejects the second DVD writer.

If I put a disc in DVD writer 1, and a disc into DVD writer 2, DVD writer 2 shows the disc name of the DVD in DVD writer 1.

Because of this confusion I am unable to bu to DVD writer 2.

Anyone got any suggestions as to fixing this issue (other than buying/using a DVD writer that is a different model).
