Hello all,
I'm new to Ubuntu, and Linux in general.
I'm ruing Ubuntu 16.04 on an older laptop (64 bit Intel processor, half a terabyte of space, 4G of Ram).
I was looking at Padre as a suitable candidate for creating and ruing Python scripts n programs, but 16.04 doesn't run it very well. What are you all using ??? The packaged IDE doesn't suit me. I'd like something inbetween Eclipse and a simple text editor with a compiler attached.
What would you all suggest?
