[ubuntu_studio] Installing Ubuntu Studios over a Windows 8 and Linux Mint dual boot

YO,

Used to use Ubuntu for awhile then installed LinuxMint as a dual boot with Windows 8. Mint has my favourite UI so far. I am pretty much married to the idea that start panel should be at the bottom and not the top. But Mint had problems using audio and video software, so I am going to try Ubuntu Studios.

Is there away to just install it over my windows 8, which came with the hard-drive? Or at least shrink it so it doesnt take half of my hard-drive?

Balls. I bought a Linux magazine that had a DVD with it, and now I cant find it.
