BQ M10 - Budget Wireless Touchpad Keyboardspackage.

I wanted to try out desktop mode. I decided to try my 2.4G Mini Wireless Touchpad Keyboard that I originally bought to use with my Raspberry Pi. These are available on ebay for about £10.

The mini keyboard is supplied with a special usb dongle. I coected this to the M10 with an OTG cable. It worked fine! Touchpad has left and right buttons, so dragging is supported. Downside is that keyboard is ultra mini (really tiny) so is of no practical use for writing your memoirs.

I then decided to purchase a KKMoon 81 Key Bluetooth Touchpad Keyboard from ebay (about £13). This is the same size as the M10 and worked fine except for one important limitation: there are no mouse buttons, so dragging isn't possible. You can run LibreOffice Writer in full screen mode to write your memoirs, but without dragging, you couldn't use the drawing package.

I am writing this on my shiny new M10 in touch mode and I had plaed to add a photo of the ultra mini keyboard. Unfortunately the manage attachments feature of this forum doesn't work for me.

To help you identify the ultra mini keyboard on ebay, it has a letterbox footprint with a distinctly rounded bottom right hand coer.

According to the KKMoon user guide, dragging is supported by Windows, but not by Android.
