[ubuntu] Keyboard issue

hi to all,

as soon as I press the SHIFT key it copies whatever I last pasted. It happens with both the left and right SHIFT keys.

Moreover, none of the keys will repeat its effect with long pressure. In detail, for example if I hold the 'd' key I expect to see several 'd' on the screen like 'dddddddddddddd...'.
Of course I am more conceed about the fact that I caot use arrows nor DEL keys to fast scroll or fast cancel and I am obliged to scroll and cancel one position by one position. Also, I caot use the SHIFT keys to write in uppercase...
