SPAM from Forums

You didn't sign up for UF itself using your email address. You created an Ubuntu One SSO account that allows you to get access to the Forums. That account is associated with a useame on the Forums.

Ubuntu One is administered by Canonical, not anyone here at the Ubuntu Forums.

I'm not sure how to get in touch with whoever administers Ubuntu One, but I'll see if I can find out.

Edit: I just had a look. Your email address is such that it would be easy to generate randomly and start spamming. There is no certainty that your Ubuntu One email address was in any way compromised.
