Meizu Pro 5 High Resolution Audio playback

The Meizu Pro 5 has a very good ESS DAC inside which is capable of playing back high resolution audio, even DSD!
I did a test but unfortunately the current "Ubuntu Music App" doesn't make any use of the capabilities of this High End ESS DAC..

It would be great if this "high-resolution audio" functionality could be put on the roadmap, because the Meizu Pro 5 is a nice high-end telephone with
great potential, and this way: Ubuntu Touch + Meizu Pro 5 could become a real Audiophile Music Player!

Who can help? and what have to be done to accomplish this?
