ecryptfs_decrypt_page: Error attempting to read lower page; rc = [-4]

ecryptfs_readpage: Error decrypting page; rc = [-4]

Are these messages in dmesg/syslog something I should be conceed about? Is it related to my encrypted home directory I selected on install or is referring to something else?

I have had this issue with linux mint also when using the 4.4 keel but not with the 3.19 keel which is what I chose to stay with while using mint. So i believe its an issue with later keels although I have no idea what it means or why its happening. Anybody know? I don't find any other related error messages. Smartctl tests and smart data say my drive is perfectly fine. I don't notice any issues with performance.

I am using default ubuntu xenial 16.04 with unity.
