Weird updates?

So I was just using the little automatic updater, and it seemed to stop and hang up on one thing, and wasn't able to go any further.

And that thing was "Downloading WarZone 2100 video". Now why on earth, would I need the video, to that old game? I'm a linux noob, so can anyone explain why that is going on? I really don't want that taking up space on my hard drive. Also it seemed to break the update process.

Lastly, how do I start the automatic updates function again? The one that just updates everything, and you get a little status bar and you just wait for it all to be done. That is the one that I like. How do you start that again? I looked around but its hiding from me.
