[SOLVED] 14.04 Dell XPS-L702X network stopped working

Hi,

Booted up my laptop today and I no longer have any network coection - wireless or wired. The network "up/down arrows" applet no longer appears either.

This is a dual boot laptop, so I have checked that the router/cable/wireless/inteet all still work ok on the laptop under windows7 - and they do.

Nothing has changed on the laptop, apart from the usual regular ubuntu updates.
