[ubuntu] Ubuntu 14.04 - lower network bandwidth on powerline adapters

Hi,

I've recently purchased set of powerline adapters that basically tu your electrical wiring in house into etheet network. I have TP-LINK model TL-PA451KIT and I'm using Ubuntu 14.04. I do understand that name and specs of those adapters is misleading and you can get a downspeed of 100Mbps, so that's not the case here.

I've done test using speedtest.net site when coected to network via those adapters. Using same hardware, but on different OS I'm getting completely different results. On Windows I have Down/Up speeds of 80Mbps/24Mbps and on Ubuntu 45Mbps/24Mbps.

Is there any way to improve those speeds on Ubuntu? Any driver that can be used?
