Bose's SoundTouch rejects my username xubuntu 14.04 under Wine

I got an Bose SoundTouch system (wireless speakers, wlan) some months ago and it worked fine.
I managed the SoundTouch from an Android and from my computer based on xubuntu 14.04 under Wine using the SoundTouch application provided by Bose (http://worldwide.bose.com/downloads/...load/page.html)
Later, in March, I updated the SoundTouch program and it doesn't work anymore.
The program starts, it asks for my useame and password and it rejects them.

The point is that this program works on a W7 system but not on ubuntu (neither on Debian nor Mint).
I got some traces with Wireshark (in fact I'm not able to understand them) and found a 'TLSv1.2 Encrypted Alert' sent by a Bose server. I might provide these traces.

I put a post on a SoundTouch forum but they 'have not seen this as a widespread issue' and therefore I don't have a solution.
Any suggestion, any help?
