[lubuntu] Kodi and Skype working in Lubuntu: Possible with these specs?

Hello everyone.
A n0ob comes to you with a question.
I have 2 old laptops that I want to revive using Lubuntu and to install Kodi and Skype.
As one of those have several problems booting, and might need some technical assistance, I will stay with an old HP with the following specs:

-Processor-
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2.10GHz : 2101.00MHz

-Memory-
Total Memory : 3099608 kB (3 GB RAM)

VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation G86M [GeForce 8400M GS] (I believe it has 256 MB memory and 64-bit)

HD: 1 Drive with 2 partitions (for now) with 232.89 GB (Data from GParted)

I have read about both of these programs I need to install, and quite frankly, I don't know if they are compatible with Lubuntu on a PC with these specs.
