[lubuntu] Lubunto won't start

Lubunto installed on a disk with windows xp using USB Flash Drive.

When boot Lubunto shows:
"/dev/sda:clean, 127059/1769472 files, 831362/7067648 blocks"

When boot Windows Xp shows:
"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
<windows root>system32hal.dll
please re-install a copy of the file above."

The only way to star lubunto is to use the rescue mode.
